Lisa is a highly experienced finance and accounting director with extensive knowledge of all functions of an accounting department including payroll, accounts payable, billing, and preparation of financial statements. Coupled with her proficiency in accounting software, Lisa delivers a highly-specialized client experience that elevates the overall accounting function of a firm while helping them reach their goals.

Collaborating with clients, Lisa provides solutions to strengthen critical accounting operations, including timely month-end close and financial reporting. In particular, Lisa has deep working knowledge of project-based industries including architecture and engineering.

Kristi Weierbach, Ph.D., SPHR, SHRM-SCP

As Managing Director of Workforce Advisory at Stambaugh Ness, Kristi Weierbach helps AEC firms navigate complex workforce issues that impact performance and growth. She works with organizations facing hiring shortages, turnover, unclear job structures, and inconsistent HR practices, guiding them toward solutions that make their workplaces more effective and resilient.

Kristi’s work centers on taking the often-messy parts of AEC firms, including people and culture, and elevating them to strategic drivers of performance. She leads projects in compensation analysis by helping firms understand competitive pay, build a pay band structure, and help handling outliers or compression issues. Kristi also helps develop a job architecture framework that provides career paths, giving employees clarity and helping firms grow in a structured way.

Her work includes helping AEC firms with strategies for finding and keeping talent, aligning performance with strategic initiatives or priorities, and creating incentive programs that not only reward employees but help drive the behaviors needed to achieve desired results. She also supports clients with HR risk and compliance, reducing exposure to costly issues before they arise. Across all areas, her goal is simple: help AEC firms find, keep, and support the people who keep their projects moving.

Marla brings with her a wealth of expertise honed through her extensive career, during which she navigated intricate tax challenges and delivered tailored solutions to complex tax situations. Her track record of leadership, coupled with her comprehensive understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements, positions her as an invaluable addition to the SN team.

Marla has over three decades of extensive expertise across both public and private sectors, with a focus on law and taxation. Prior to joining SN, Marla served as the Managing Tax Director at BDO USA’s National Tax Office, specializing in accounting methods, tax controversy, and risk management. Additionally, she managed hundreds of tax matters that resulted in large reductions of tax liabilities and audit findings; and served as a well-known tax thought leader as a result of her numerous presentations, articles, and interviews.

Marla spearheads the operations of SN’s National Tax Office, providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure unparalleled client service and solution delivery.

With more than 20 years of accounting industry experience, Kevin has extensive auditing, accounting, and consulting knowledge. Before joining SN, Kevin honed his skills, serving in leadership roles that included directing the commercial audit practice of a large regional public accounting firm and several years in the audit practice of a National and a Big 4 firm.
