Having trouble reporting Payroll Tax for Worked in State?

Director of State & Local Tax, Karen Poist CPA, will provide a BRIEF (10 – 15 minutes) overview of complying with state payroll tax requirements based on where your employees are working. Our Ajera team will spend 15-20 minutes demonstrating the current workflows some of our Ajera friends are using to record and report for state payroll tax liability. This should provide some ideas of how to record and report based on the tools currently available.

We are eager to hear your struggles and successes to help the Ajera community be better prepared to track and report worked-in labor hours efficiently.  We will reserve the balance of the hour to hear from you and answer your questions.  We will be sharing feedback with Deltek to give them a better idea of what would be helpful to Ajera users faced with this challenge.

Watch this to learn:

  • About payroll tax liability reporting requirements when  your employees work in states other than your current location(s)
  • What other Ajera Users are doing today to track ‘worked in state’ by Project/Phase
  • How to add custom fields, phases, or labor activities to track ‘worked in state’ via time entry in Ajera

Do you have a success story to share? We want to hear about it!
