Stambaugh Ness Enhances Leadership with Five New Principals

The appointment of five new principals by Stambaugh Ness aligns with the firm’s growth plan. The Stambaugh Ness leadership team is strengthened by depth and breadth of experience in providing Small Business, Tax, and Outsourced Business Services, and Governmental, Not-For-Profit and AEC Industry Services.

York, PA – Stambaugh Ness CPAs / Business & Technology Advisors (SN), is pleased to announce (pictured above from left) Kelly Chambers, James Gante, Krista Gardner, Jennifer Nelson, and Steve Snyder have been added to the Firm’s leadership as Principals.

Kelly A. Chambers, CPA, Principal, will focus on the Small Business Practice at SN. Clients will benefit from her more than 21 years of public accounting experience providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to individuals and small businesses in a variety of industries. Ms. Chambers also has an extensive background in accounting information systems and is a Certified Bill.com Guru.

James A. Gante, CPA, Principal, will oversee an experienced team of professionals providing Outsourced Accounting Services including outsourced accounting, human resource and payroll advisory, and CFO services. His small business experience has made him a valuable and forward-thinking resource for clients who are focused upon planning for, and achieving, their goals. In addition to his extensive public accounting expertise, Mr. Gante’s background also includes experience as a controller and as a business owner. He joined Stambaugh Ness in 1998 when he merged his small business accounting practice with the firm.

Krista M. Gardner, CPA, Principal, will direct the Governmental and Not-for-Profit Practice. Krista has deep experience in fund accounting, as well as GASB 34 financial statements, Yellow Book audits and audits under OMB Circular A-133 (Single Audit). Krista’s experience includes an active role in the community and she serves as a volunteer fundraising coordinator with Special Olympics York County.

Jennifer G. Nelson, CPA, MBA, Principal, will lead the Tax Practice of SN. She specializes in federal, state, and international taxation of corporations, and partnerships, as well as individual taxation. Additionally, she provides tax research, consultation, and compliance in the areas of accounting methods, international tax, multi-state taxation, tax credits, and overall strategic tax planning and advisory services. She has over 18 years of public accounting experience.

Steve Snyder, CPA, CCIFP, Principal, will provide leadership to SN’s Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Practice. Mr. Snyder has more than 16 years of experience helping AEC clients to meet compliance requirements, uncover opportunities to improve internal processes, and to maximize their profitability. Steve will also help support the firm’s ERISA practice.
